Pay Scale: $16-$18/hr.
Summary: As an integral part of the Quality and Analytics department, the BI Analyst will support the department by creating analytics dashboards and reports to support the promotion of improved service and clinical outcomes. The analyst will also perform complex analysis on healthcare data using database queries, spreadsheets, and data visualization software. He/she is responsible for creating efficient and easy to use dashboards, highlighting insights and key takeaways, and summarizing results from large datasets in a manner that is easy to understand and digest for internal and external audiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses Power BI, SSRS, SQL, and other business intelligence tools to create and maintain analytics dashboards and reports. Optimizes queries for speed, and ensures the accuracy of the data.
- Uses SQL and Excel to perform advanced ad hoc analytical projects that involve text parsing, lookups, pivot tables, and graphs in a timely manner.
- Finds meaningful insights from large data sets and assigned analytical assignments and succinctly summarizes and presents conclusions and key takeaways to others.
- Defines the scope of the data analytic requests by clarifying and documenting what questions the end-user is trying to answer and how the results of the analysis will be used after it is delivered. After completion of analysis, performs necessary follow-up to ensure analysis meets expectations and that end-user understands how to interpret it.

Education and/or Experience: This position requires minimum of an Associates Degree, in computer science, technology, analytics, mathematics, business, or healthcare related field. Bachelors of Science is preferred. Prefer a minimum of 1 year work experience in related field. Will consider applicable job experience in lieu of educational requirements. A demonstration of skills may be required.
