Pay Scale: Starting 51k(Provisional)-56k(Fully Licensed)
Summary: Lead Clinician serves as support to the Center Director to ensure the clinical areas functions with high quality and consistency. This position is responsible for clinical oversight of assigned staff and assists Center Director with administrative duties as needed within the center. The position also provides direct clinical services to clients.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Carries an active caseload and/or perform direct clinical services for minimum of 2 days per week. - Mentors the clinical Mental Health staff to increase their clinical effectiveness, productivity and therapeutic skills. In coordination with the Center Director, Lead Clinician assists with the development, use, analysis, and feedback of clinical performance measurement indicators, processes, audits and assures all paperwork, billing tickets and documentation is completed in a timely manner. Additionally, assists in ensuring strict compliance with all professional standards, Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures.
- Provides in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, provide best practices training to staff, also participates in agency-wide training programs/in-services
- Participates in the selection, hiring and performance evaluation of clinical staff
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Units Billed Minimum Requirement: To be determined by CD. Minimum of 40% of expected clinician case load
Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide on-site clinical supervision to all Mental Health Services staff.
Education and/or Experience: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university. Three to five years of clinical practice experience (LCSW, LCAS, LCMHC, and LMFT). Prefer 1 year of supervisory experience.
