Summary:
The Center Director is responsible for the maintenance of the Daymark/Client hospital contractual relationship(s) and in coordination with the client, the overall administration of patient care for the Program. Included in these responsibilities are: 1) the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program; 2) the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program; and 3) strategic planning, program administration, and development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures strict compliance with all professional standards, IPRS/NC State, Federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures and accreditation standards. Maintains care and compliance with all rules for the facility.
- Monitors all expenses and ensures that expenditures are within proposed budget for Center. Assists with development of center budget. Provides all unit staff direction on maintaining efficiency in processes
- Evaluate the ongoing performance of consumer services, as well as the individual performance of staff members. Responsible for oversight of assigned staff, to include selection, training, evaluation, and disciplinary action. Responsible for the selection & hiring of staff. Serves as the liaison between the Daymark, Good Hope and Staff.
- Provides or arranges for clinical direction and supervision, with appropriate documentation, to all members of treatment team. Provides or arranges for in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, including best practices training to staff, also participates in agency-wide trainingprograms/in-services
- Assures all paperwork and documentation is completed in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Works with DON, office manager and medical records team leader to ensure that all state and accreditation regulatory standards are followed.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Supervisory Responsibilities: Provide on-site administrative supervision to all hospital staff
Education and/or Experience Minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university, and be licensed in the field with 3-5 years of clinical practice and supervisor experience. Non-clinical degrees like MBA, other business degree or non-licensable degrees like BSN or RN will be considered with a minimum of 5-10 years’ work and supervisor experience in the mental health substance abuse environment. Prefer Hospital Administration experience.
