Pay Scale: $16-17/hr.
Shifts: Posibility for Days and Nights; Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN(on-call as needed)
Summary: Responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of consumers through providing direct and indirect care. Our Guilford location is a Residential Program providing services 24 hours a day 365 days a year to Guilford County residents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision and monitoring of each consumer. Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills.
- Document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.
- Participate in Shift Report
- Provide transportation
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Special Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills and belief in consumer’s ability to recover. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. A desire to work with individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience with the population served and/or crisis experience. AA degree or a BS/ BA degree preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
