Summary
Quality Assurance SpecialistThe Quality Assurance Specialist is a generalist role that works independently on behalf of the Quality Assurance team to create positive business impact. This role also is customer facing to help identify and correct technical issues in quality assurance product specifications.

This role also is customer facing to help identify and correct technical issues in quality assurance product specifications.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities o Create weekly procurement requirements for 120 items weekly. Plans most efficient method to purchase, transport and organize the products for weekly analysis. Analyzes best products to purchase and/or acceptable substitutions. Communicates real time as necessary to minimize down time.o Prepare test environments by setting-up the necessary application settings and test data creation and subsequent clean up.o Perform appropriate food preparation techniques to ensure products are completed according to customer requirements safely and with high quality.o Perform functional, usability, integration and regression testing, documenting, communicating code, data or workflow issues and defectso Conduct regular quality control data tests, researching, identifying, and resolving any data issues identified with product specifications

2-4 Years of experience in laboratory

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed both in an office environment and outside of the office traveling short distances in the local area for the purpose of procurement. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (55% each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
