Dayrise Wellness is looking for a reliable and accountable Care Coordinator to join our expanding outpatient mental health practice. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in managing client care, including intake, scheduling, and billing.
You will collaborate closely with clients and their families to ensure they receive timely and appropriate support. Your responsibilities will include providing exceptional service by promptly answering calls, conducting consultations with potential clients, and facilitating access to necessary treatments and resources. Additionally, you'll manage client payments, help clients understand their insurance benefits, and oversee therapist schedules and caseloads.
To excel in this position, you must possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor. While experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, it is not required. Responsibilities:
- Conduct urgent intake assessments and re-evaluations.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to patient inquiries via phone and email, including insurance estimates.
- Screen clients for eligibility and refer to necessary services (mental health, housing, etc.).
- Maintain timely updates in the CRM.
- Coordinate schedules and monitor therapist caseloads.
- Facilitate communication among staff, patients, and families.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and quality care.
- Track client information and maintain organized files.
- Initiate outreach for missed appointments.
- Monitor patient discharges.
- Process co-pays, coinsurance, and self-pay charges.
- Assist clients with insurance navigation.
- Resolve billing and payment issues with clients and families.
- Monitor and reorder clinic supplies as needed.
- Keep reception and waiting areas clean and presentable.
