Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
• Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing and drying techniques.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and laundry areas to maintain availability.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel setting, is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly throughout the shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.70 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
