Job Summary
Maintenance person needed for all basic hotel operation needs.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and performance. Those with little or no hotel experience will start at about $11 or $12/hour. Those with a good deal of hotel experience will start at $18.
Responsibilities and Duties
Hotel maintenance is responsible for all common areas, hotel guestrooms, meeting spaces, restaurant, bar, kitchen area, pool area and must assist in the repairs and proper maintenance of hotel equipment. This includes the following:
*maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment such as pumps and small motors,
*blowing leaves from walkways and parking lot and weekly lawn care,
*maintaining and repairing plumbing,
*maintaining and repairing electrical systems and small appliances,
*mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning of windows, and the daily removal of all trash,
*setting up the tables and chairs for all of our special functions and banquet party events
*completing the work on preventive maintenance checklists.
Applicant Requirements
Prefer at least 1-3 year previous motel/hotel maintenance experience.
Require someone who is handy, strong, conscientious, self-starting, and needing little supervision to get the work done.
