Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during breakfast hours, ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and satisfying dining experience. This role involves food handling, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in various tasks to support the breakfast service. Breakfast attendant schedule is 6 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. daily.
Responsibilities
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their needs.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in banquet or catering events as needed, ensuring all food service requirements are met.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent guest services skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Proficient in using cash registers and handling cash transactions.
- Good phone etiquette for taking reservations or responding to inquiries.
- Previous experience in customer service roles within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
