Maintenance Team Member - Join Our Team at Days Inn & Suites!
Days Inn & Suites is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Team Member to ensure our property is always in top condition! If you’re handy, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for providing a safe and comfortable environment for guests, we want you on our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair work on hotel facilities and equipment.
- Guest Room Preventative Maintnenace
- Pool Care
- Repairs such as: faucet or toilet leaks, wall damage, refinishing furtniture or fixture
- Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry repairs.
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are in good working order.
- Conduct routine inspections of the building and report any issues to management.
- Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance promptly.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure they are clean and in good condition.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs to reduce future repair needs.
- Ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance or general repair experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and commitment to ensuring a great guest experience.
Requirements:
- Must be Bi-lingual in Spanish
- Possess basic skills and tools to handle hotel building and service equipment
