Housekeeping and Laundry Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in both housekeeping and laundry operations, particularly within a hotel or hospitality setting.

Duties

• Launder and clean linens, towels, and guest clothing as per established protocols.
• Perform dry cleaning services when necessary, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Organize and manage laundry supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and linen stock.

Skills

• Proven experience in laundering and cleaning tasks, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
• Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
