What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeping / Laundry position at Days Inn Wilson?
Basic Purpose:
Clean and supply all daily assigned rooms and reports all damage, mechanical deficiencies, suspicious activities or theft in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards and safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction. Must have a good attitude and be willing to work as part of a team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean guestrooms, stocking with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations including but not limited to; Picking up trash, changing linen and making the bed, cleaning the entire bathroom, sweeping and dusting the guestroom cleaning the windows and balcony areas.
- Retrieve, stock, restock and store the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety, and security procedures and regulations.
- Laundry and trash removal from the room, transport to laundry/dumpster, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Variable. Typically, this position works day hours including numerous weekends and holidays regularly throughout the year. If you understand the importance of serving others and delivering superior experiences leading to profitable hotels, then you may be the candidate we are looking for. Will hire on the pot for right applicants.
