Days Inn by Wyndham is a leading name in the hospitality industry, dedicated to providing guests with comfortable, high-quality stays and exceptional customer service. Our property is looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager (GM) to lead our team and oversee all hotel operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a proven track record in team leadership and budget management.

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving financial and operational goals. You will lead a dedicated team to maintain brand standards while driving profitability and delivering a welcoming and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a full-time, salaried position.

Leadership and Management:

• Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff.
• Foster a positive work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.

Guest Satisfaction:

• Ensure guest concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience.

Operational Oversight:

• Oversee all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
• Ensure compliance with Wyndham and Days Inn brand standards.

Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor revenue and expenses to achieve financial objectives.
• Implement strategies to increase occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.

Marketing and Sales:

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing initiatives and local partnerships.
• Represent the hotel in the community to build relationships and attract business.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure the property adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably with a Wyndham brand.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proven track record of achieving financial and operational goals.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
