As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving financial and operational goals. You will lead a dedicated team to maintain brand standards while driving profitability and delivering a welcoming and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
This is a full-time, salaried position.
Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff.
- Foster a positive work environment to promote teamwork and employee engagement.
Guest Satisfaction:
- Ensure guest concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
- Ensure compliance with Wyndham and Days Inn brand standards.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Monitor revenue and expenses to achieve financial objectives.
- Implement strategies to increase occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
Marketing and Sales:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing initiatives and local partnerships.
- Represent the hotel in the community to build relationships and attract business.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure the property adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably with a Wyndham brand.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven track record of achieving financial and operational goals.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
