Days Inn Hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and organizing guest rooms, common areas, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in guest rooms and public areas.
Change bed linens and replace towels as needed.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring all amenities are stocked.
Replenish guest room supplies, such as coffee, toiletries, and linens.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills.
Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Strong communication skills.
