Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for your clients. You will collaborate with families and other professionals to implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement ABA treatment plans designed by the BCBA
- Accept and implement feedback provided by BCBA for program integrity
- Collect data (frequency, latency, duration, etc.) via electronic device
- Communicate client progress with supervising BCBA and caregivers
- Maintain client confidentiality and ethical boundaries
- Promote team collaboration for effective program implementation
- Maintain cleanliness to promote safe work environments
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with children with ASD or special needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration
- RBT certified (or willing to obtain prior to hiring)
- CPR/BLS certified (or willing to obtain prior to hiring)
- Clear state and federal background check
- HS diploma required, college experience preferred
- MUST be comfortable attending to daily living skills of toddlers
- MUST be physically able to sit on floor, stand, squat, bend, run, play and lift small children (30 lbs) without accommodation
- MUST adhere to health and safety protocols (COVID, Flu, etc.)
*Starting pay ranges from $19.25-22.50/hr depending on experience and education. Pay increases with performance reviews.
