This position is responsible for the planning, promotion, and implementation of all school-wide events; all school-wide employee events and meetings; our IMPACT parent meetings; liaison to special guests; the promotion of our school and activities via social media, print, and other effective forms of marketing and promotion.
Position : Full time / Exempt
Work Schedule : A typical work day consists of 8 hours plus a half-hour unpaid lunch break, 5 days per week; however, work hours may vary based on the school's needs.

Job Summary :
The Events & Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing fundraising and community events to support Dayspring Academy's mission. This role involves securing sponsorships, overseeing volunteers, and managing event logistics to ensure successful school wide events and fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, goal-driven, and passionate about community engagement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, plan, and execute fundraising events, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.
- Proficiency in developing and pitching event ideas for approval by supervisors and board members.
- Identify, approach, and secure sponsorships and partnerships with businesses, individuals, and organizations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to assist with events and fundraising efforts.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, permits, and compliance requirements.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Develop promotional materials and marketing strategies in collaboration with the communications team.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders.
- Track and evaluate event performance, providing reports and recommendations for future improvements.
- Stay informed on fundraising trends, best practices, and community engagement strategies.
- Self-motivated and resilient professional with a proven ability to perform under pressure. Adept at making quick, strategic decisions to solve problems efficiently while maintaining focus and composure in challenging situations.
Work Environment :
This role requires office work, remote communication, and on-site event management. Some travel may be necessary for community outreach and sponsor meetings.
