Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using diagnostic evaluation techniques to identify behavioral needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze research data to measure client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients’ goals in various settings.
- Provide training and supervision to staff and caregivers on behavior intervention strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in special education and behavior analysis.
Requirements
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Ability to conduct research data collection effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- A background in special education or related fields is a plus.
