Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer prescribed medications to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patients for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications.
- Document medication administration accurately in patient records.
- Assist with vital signs monitoring and report any significant changes to nursing staff.
- Provide support in acute care situations, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist patients with tube feeding as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for understanding medication effects on the body.
