Position Summary

The Family Service Coordinator is responsible for planning and administering program services for children and families. Services must be coordinated with staff in other program content areas and must include ongoing assessment of the quality of services provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and administer the Dayspring Family Services program area, ensuring an integrated and comprehensive system of services for children and families.
Provide training and guidance to staff, parents, and community members on a variety of pertinent topics in the area of family and community partnership.
Ensure ongoing monitoring, tracking, follow-up and analysis of family and community services, including attendance and COPA.
Maintain record keeping and reporting systems, including service area plan, schedules, timeline policies and procedures for family and community partnership services in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and applicable laws and regulations.
Oversee implementation of the Head Start framework to ensure systematic processes and procedures.
Ensure coordination of communication with staff, parents, program consultants and community to enhance services to children and families.
Supervise and oversee work tasks and activities within the Family and Community Partnership department to ensure the full delivery of integrated service.
Collaborate with state and community partners for recruitment to enhance Dayspring's family services.
Ensure effective transition planning for children and families.
Assist in planning and preparing special events or activities.
Ongoing professional development through education, role modeling, mentoring, and training.
Ability to travel throughout Dayspring Head Start catchment area on a regular basis.
Develop, maintain, and manage system to track the eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance of children to comply with federal and state program regulations.Verify income and eligibility qualifications of children and families, and ensure applications are complete and data is accurately entered into the COPA database.
Create and maintain record keeping and reporting policies for waitlists, enrollment, attendance, timelines, schedules and procedures in accordance with designated state and federal program requirements.
Ensure ongoing monitoring, tracking, follow-up and analysis of enrollment data, and produce regular reports for management meetings.
Maintain enrollment forms, ensuring information is current, correct and disseminated to all necessary staff to meet program requirements.
Determine the need for recruitment activities to provide information and enrollment opportunities to children and families.

Ensure full program enrollment and maintenance of a sufficient wait-list.
Compile and submit Program Information Report (PIR) data on a periodic basis.

Work on occasional weekends and evenings required!
Attend meetings and training's as required.
Perform other duties as determined by the supervisor

Requirements:
Candidate needs an AA in Human Services

Must provide proof of degree

AA salary is $42,556

BA Salary is $56,700
Must pass drug test and criminal background
Ability to provide an official college transcript
Ability to start within two weeks
Must have valid driver's license and a car

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,556.00 - $56,000.00 per year
