Job Title: Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
Description: Applications are now being accepted for Adaptive Physical Education Teacher at our elementary school, Learning Center West. The Adaptive Physical Education Teacher will assist students with developmental deficiencies by implementing the state approved curriculum, document teaching and student progress, activities and outcomes. The APE Teacher will work with students to develop student leadership, teamwork, responsibility and social skills. The APE Teacher will provide a safe and optimal learning environment for students and provide feedback to the student, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.The Adaptive Physical Education Teacher will promote a positive impression of the school district and the Montgomery County Educational Service Center. Applicants must hold the APE Endorsement or be willing to pursue the endorsement.
Salary: from $46,771 depending on education and experience level
