POSITION OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT
Part-Time Phlebotomy Instructor
General Description : This part-time position is in the Adult Education division. The instructor will guide the classroom learning experiences for the students preparing to be Phlebotomy Technicians. The Phlebotomy Instructor will report to the Director of Instruction.
Qualifications :
1. Two years of experience working in phlebotomy required
2. Current phlebotomy certification preferred
3. Current work in the field of phlebotomy preferred
4. Past experience in teaching or training preferred
5. Possess good knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of phlebotomy
6. Ability to plan and implement lessons based on program and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assigned
7. Ability to move about in classroom / lab to check student work and monitor behavior / learning
8. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students and peers
9. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
10. Possess excellent human relations skills and serve as a role model for students
Salary : $29 per hour
