SUMMARY
The Associate Director of Human Resources will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in developing and implementing effective HR strategies and programs that align with the District's mission : Inspire. Educate. Empower! This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering a positive organizational culture that supports the vision to inspire, educate, and empower scholars for a lasting impact. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources within a school environment, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, licensing, employee relations, and compliance with educational policies and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- HR Strategy and Development :
Collaborate and engage effectively with staff and administrators to identify HR needs within the educational context.
Manage the recruitment process specific to educational roles, including creating job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
Support and maintain positive rapport and trust with employees, educators, and community partners.
Maintain databases, analyze data, and ensure data integrity for HR metrics, attendance, and other relevant data to inform decision-making in a school context.
Assist in managing the HR department's calendar and scheduling appointments related to educational personnel matters.
Assist in the development and implementation of districtwide communications regarding human resource practices tailored for school settings.
Serve as the liaison and technical point of contact between vendors of HR applications used in educational environments.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the HR department and the overall mission of the District.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., PeopleWerks, Frontline, ScView, Google Suite).
