Director of Athletics (Grades 7-12) – Troy City Schools
Troy City Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Athletics for grades 7-12. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the district's athletic programs, ensuring excellence in sportsmanship, student-athlete development, and program administration.
Position Details:
Reports to: High School Principal
- Salary Range: $125,766 – $141,486
- Work Year: 260 days per year
Start Date: August 1, 2025
Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid Ohio Educator’s License
- Preferred:
- Ohio Administrator’s License (or willingness to work toward obtaining one)
Experience in school administration or athletic administration
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the district’s 7-12 athletic programs
- Ensure compliance with OHSAA regulations and school policies
- Oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of coaches
- Manage athletic budgets and facility operations
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community
Promote sportsmanship, academic achievement, and student-athlete well-being
