Department Specific Job Details :
The Apheresis / Dialysis Nurse supports the unit by providing and managing all extracorporeal treatments to include apheresis, hemodialysis and continuous renal replacement. They are part of the team that maintains competency and skills related to these treatments. The Apheresis / Dialysis nurse is cross trained to the PICU as a PICU staff nurse and maintains competency and education related to the PICU and inpatient nursing. Other duties as assigned. Staff will cover a holiday rotation and weekend rotation. Experience running apheresis or hemodialysis preferred.
HOURS :
FULL-TIME DAY SHIFT : 7A-7P (EVERY THIRD WEEKEND ROTATION).
