Overview
The Customer Integration Supervisor is responsible for leading all Customer Integration staff while managing customer data integrations and ensuring seamless API and EDI communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop the Customer Integration team to ensure high performance and collaboration
- Manage schedules, training, workload, payroll and performance of all direct reports
- Use independent judgement to analyze, design and develop customer EDI integrations, including communication setup, map editing and business rule processes
- Ensure employees receive proper training incorporating new training as needed to support technical and professional growth
- Exercise discretion to create and maintain documentation of customer/trading partner contacts, custom requirements and integration details
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer integration issues, providing guidance and resolution strategies
- Collaborate with leadership to align team goals with overall company objectives
- Coordinate testing of customer integrations and change requests
- Monitor and correct problems related to EDI processes and configurations
- Provide integration support for the Dayton Freight API, validating proper setup and use when applicable
- Attend team meetings as an active participant, providing input on current issues/tasks and feedback on completed items
- Create and maintain the setup of customer “send image” processes
- Maintain and upgrade software and systems when appropriate
Qualifications
- Leadership experience required (leadership of software development team preferred)
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- B.S. in CS/MIS/Related
- Positive team oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
