Responsibilities
Forklift Mechanics develop skills in the diagnosis and repair of forklift components.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services
- Support tire maintenance program
- Conduct service calls
- Wash and fuel equipment
- Assist with other maintenance duties or assignments
- Provide assistance to senior technicians
- Lead upkeep of Maintenance Shop, grounds, and all equipment and tools
- Maintain clean, safe environment complying with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and company standards
- Be proficient in paperwork and record keeping
- Collaborate with Parts Department to ensure proper material levels
- Effectively handle special assignments
- Maintain quality hand tool inventory
- Communicate professionally with operations and/or operators
- Participate in high-level teamwork

Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Pass a drug screen
