We're looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant (Quality Control) to join us in working on advanced aerospace, commercial, general aviation, and military programs around the world.
Position Overview
Dayton Granger is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Quality Control team in Fort Lauderdale. In this role, you will assist the Quality Manager with administrative tasks, maintain quality documentation, and coordinate compliance activities to support our aerospace and aviation manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for quality excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative support to the Quality Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing quality documentation, including inspection reports, certifications, and compliance records.
- Assist in creating and updating quality manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and forms.
- Track and monitor quality objective and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure timely updates to reports and dashboards.
- Support the Quality Manager in coordinating audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support the tracking of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring timely responses to quality issues.
- Assist in the documentation and follow-up of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and escalate issues as needed.
- Assist in coordinating employee training related to quality standards and maintain up-to-date training records.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer / Safety Director
