Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to the HR team across all functional areas of HR. Responsible for delivering high quality, customer-focused service, supporting all levels of employees by coordinating and supporting HR projects, programs, processes and policies, as well as supporting employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Performs a wide variety of Human Resources support functions, including but not limited to:
- Generates HR reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Participates in planning and execution of company events
- Publishes a weekly company Newsletter and triannual Employee Magazine
- Process background checks and coordinate pre-employment screenings
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
- Owns administration of employee onboarding and orientation
- Performs HRIS data entry and audits employee data to ensure HRIS data integrity
- Ensures compliance with on-going personnel file maintenance
- Supports the execution of employee engagement activities
- Reconciles department expenses
- Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or other related field
- 0 -2 years of HR-related experience
- Advanced MS Office Suite skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Publisher
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Must have excellent customer service and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- HRIS and reporting experience preferred
