Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC) is seeking experienced candidates for Medical Assistant in our Pain management division. Full benefits available for full time placements.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the practice. You will support doctors and providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Triage patient and document in EMR
- Update and file medical records
- Assist during medical examinations and procedures
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Crosstrain at front desk
Skills
- Completion of Medical Assisting educational program
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Diploma or degree in Medical assisting. Certification preferred
- Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
