What You'll Do:
- Keep things moving: Ensure timely and efficient flow of sales orders to meet customer deadlines.
- Collaborate with teams: Work closely with internal Sales, Customer Service, and freight/parcel carriers to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage inventory: Track and maintain office and warehouse supplies, ensuring we're always stocked up.
- Drive performance: Keep a close eye on department performance metrics and suggest ways to improve processes (lean practices).
- Problem-solve on the fly: Troubleshoot any challenges to meet customer demand and prepare Bills of Lading for shipments.
- Support the team: Help order pickers, material handlers, and other departments as needed, and assist with clerical tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong computer skills (MS Word and Excel); SAP experience a plus.
- Ability to lift, pack, stack, and wrap items up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfort in an active work environment—standing, walking, and using hands are all part of the day.
- Ability to handle moderate noise levels and work in a warehouse that can reach up to 90°F in summer months.
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to improve workflows.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree (preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6 months of related experience is a bonus, but we’re open to candidates eager to learn!
