SUMMARY 
Under the general direction of the Associate District Athletic Director, the Athletic Site Coordinator serves as an extension of the Athletic Department and manages athletics at their home site. These duties include coordinating all aspects of game day management and supervision. In addition, the Site Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with coaches on scheduling competitions (non conference) and practices;submitting transportation requests, and collecting accurate inventory. The Site Coordinator also serves as a support to the Progress Monitoring program and FinalForms compliance by assisting with monitoring student athletes and program deficiencies. . 
The Site Coordinator must possess:

A high degree of personal and professional initiative. 
 ? Complete the required tasks and assignments without close supervision. 
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 
Athletic Site Manager will oversee event management positions (ticket taker, concessions workers, etc.) Provide leadership and oversight of the ticket takers, announcers, timers, concessions workers and statisticians, custodians and security. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (May not include all duties performed) 
Collect and secure gate receipts and monies from each event. 
? Ensure all ticket deposit receipts are properly managed in accordance with the Operations        Manual. 
? Ensure proper payroll documentation is submitted to the athletics office in a timely manner. 
? Ensure game officials complete payroll paperwork. 
Work closely with the building’s Associate Director of Athletics and the Office of Safety & Security to ensure proper coverage for all building level events. 
 ? Ensure programs are in place to emphasize and improve the academic achievement of student-athletes. 
 ? Foster positive school-community relations by keeping the public aware of, and responsive to, the schools’ athletic programs. 
? Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism in dealing with constituent groups including students, coaches, athletic staff, faculty, administrators and parents. 
Respond in a prompt, timely and effective manner to phone and e-mail messages. 
? Arrange for field and gym practice schedules and coordinate the necessary preparation, improvement and maintenance of athletic facilities. 
Work cooperatively with the DPS Operations Department as needed. 
? Ensure that the facilities are prepared for the event and the necessary equipment and supplies are available for both teams.. 
? Know location of AED machine and First Aid kit. 
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Assistant District Athletics Director or    his/her designee. 

Athletic Site Manager 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 
? Comprehensive knowledge of OHSAA and district board of education policies pertaining to athletics. 
 ? Comprehensive knowledge of school system organization, departmental responsibilities, mission, goals and philosophy of the district, board of athletic control and OHSAA. 
 ? Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely orally and in writing and with a high degree of integrity. 
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, local, Ohio, and federal officials, and the public. 
? Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions. 
? Ability to work well under pressure with constant deadlines and frequent interruptions. 
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 
Three (3) years of experience in supervising extra-curricular athletic programs at the high school or middle school level, or supervising a public recreation center with diverse athletic programs. Preferably possess experience as a high school varsity athlete, and/or college athlete. Previous coaching experience is a plus. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION 
Possess all required coaching certificates required by OHSAA: 
? pupil activity permit, fundamental of coaching certification , 
? a valid CPR and First-Aid certification, 
? concussion in sports certification, and 
? cardiac arrest course certification.
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES/DEMANDS 
Work requires moderate physical activities required for observations, attendance at athletic events, indoor and outdoor activities, walking, standing, and sitting. Office activities may include operating office equipment, communication equipment, lifting, moving, carrying light equipment, supplies, etc. 
WORK ENVIRONMENT 
Most of the time work involves only exposure to normal everyday risks, however, some activities may involve exposure to normal risks involved in observing or conducting athletic clinics, observing athletic events, etc. Night and weekend hours will be required. 
UNUSUAL DEMANDS 
? Some contacts may involve irate parents or community members. 
? Some assignments are subject to completion within strict time lines and involve the potential stress associated with time-sensitive completion of tasks
