Objective:
Create and manage machining programs for cutting and forming, supporting engineering and production teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety compliance.
- Interpret specs and drawings to determine materials and machine needs.
- Improve fabrication processes and enforce standards.
- Train operators on tools like lasers and press brakes.
- Verify dimensions and run test programs.
- Maintain records and a clean workspace.
- Collaborate with vendors.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary training and 3 years of experience are a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CAMWorks, Radan, and machining knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
- Mostly sitting with some standing, walking, and bending.
- Lift up to 10 lbs regularly.
Environmental Exposure:
- Factory: Noise up to 88 dB.
- Office: Noise below 70 dB.
