Dayton Sand & Gravel Co., Inc is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as a front-end loader, excavator, haul truck, and also running a water truck as needed in our quarry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate front-end loader, excavator, haul truck, and water truck efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating the equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on the machinery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure productivity and efficiency in the quarry operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Valid certification or license to operate the equipment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a quarry setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Good communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset
