What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Support Program Specialist position at Dayton School?
Behavior Support Program Specialist Grades 6-12 Dayton Junior / Senior High School 2024-2025 School Year Program Specialist position to address Behavior Support for the Junior High and High School. This staff member will work primarily with Tier 3 students who are struggling with behavior in the Middle School. Knowledge of or the willingness to learn in depth about Collaborative Problem Solving, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Restorative Justice Practices is a necessary requirement of this position. The selected candidate will work closely with the Director of Student Services, Building Administration, Dean of Students, and Special Education Teachers to create a positive environment for skill building and social / emotional growth. 7.5 hours per day for the 2024-2025 school year. Position begins ASAP. Ability to lift 60 lbs. The Dayton Classified Collective Bargaining Agreement outlines an annual eleven-step classified salary schedule range from $18.60 - $27.52 per hour. Experience credit shall be given for new employees who have had previous experience in the same job and classification. Medical Benefits and 6% PERS pickup.
