Employment Posting Special Education Teacher Grades 6-8 Dayton Junior 2024-2025 School Year Dayton School District is seeking a licensed special education teacher to work collaboratively with the Junior High Team. In this role, you will be designing and implementing specially designed Instruction either directly or through paraprofessionals while building positive relationships with students and the school community. A strong ability to meet deadlines and follow the requirements of special education law through case management duties of students on IEPs is an essential piece to this position. Effective methods for supporting general education teachers and staff in their work with students on your caseload will also be important. An ability to build and positively manage relationships with both parents and external service providers is needed. Salary is based on experience and placement on the licensed salary schedule.
