Front Desk Manager/ Reservation Agent

Daytona Beach Parasail & Watersports is seeking a Front Desk Manager to run our check in desk and reservation office!

The front desk manager and agents serve as our guests’ first point of contact on the phone and in person when they check in for their parasailing and other watersport adventures.

Front Desk Manager responsibilities include answering calls, taking and managing reservations through our online booking system, and providing information about parasailing and other watersport activities to our guests. We are looking for someone with great customer service skills and an outgoing personality that can quickly adapt to the fun and fast paced water sports industry. We offer full paid training and no previous experience in the watersports industry is required. Ultimately, you will help assist in creating a pleasant and memorable adventure for our guests.

Starting pay is hourly plus a commission on everything sold in the retail/gift shop. This is a full time year round job with a busy spring and summer season and quieter fall and winter periods.

Responsibilities Include:

• Answering guest questions
• Making/checking in reservations
• Professional communication on the phone and in person
• Greeting guests upon arrival
• Transaction processing
• Maintaining a daily schedule and communicating with the staff
• Training and overseeing seasonal front desk agents
• Office administrative duties and recording keeping

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Experience in front desk operations preferred, but not required
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
• Ability to manage guest relations effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
