Daytona Glass Works, LLC. is a technical quartz company that has been in business in the Daytona Beach area since 1999. We are currently accepting applications for an entry level Milano Production Operator in our manufacturing facility. Most positions have the potential to become permanent, depending on individual performance. This is an entry level position. Experience is a plus, but not required. The Milano Production Operator is responsible for performing the following:
- Operation: Operate CNC machines performing various operations and produce parts within tolerances.
- Monitoring: Monitor machine operations, adjust settings as necessary, and inspect parts to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged components.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and make adjustments or repairs as needed to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, inspection results, and production counts.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, production, and inspection teams to resolve any issues related to machining processes or part quality.
