The Daytona Tortugas are currently seeking Seasonal Internships. The Tortugas take pride in being a leader of attendance and locally being a strong community stalwart. The Tortugas are located in Downtown Daytona Beach, FL and are the Class-A Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Ideal for students interested in pursuing a career in sport management & marketing, this internship provides hands-on exposure to various aspects of the business.

- Compensation: Hourly per game day hours.
- Hours: 10-40 hours per week, depending on the game schedule
Merchandise & Marketing Internship – Daytona Tortugas
Gain hands-on experience in merchandise operations, marketing, and game-day media within Minor League Baseball.

Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in managing team merchandise, including inventory tracking, restocking, and providing excellent customer service at the Tortugas Team Store.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote merchandise sales through social media, email campaigns, and in-stadium promotions.
- Work closely with the front office staff to create engaging content for social media, including player highlights, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional graphics.
- Capture and edit game-day film for promotional use, highlight reels, and social media engagement.
- Collaborate on creative game-day promotions, in-game entertainment, and fan engagement activities.
- Support front office staff with overall game-day preparation and execution.
- Represent the Tortugas professionally at all business and community events.
- Deliver top-tier service to fans, ensuring a memorable experience at every game.
- Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for sports marketing, merchandise management, and social media strategy.
- Strong communication and creativity skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of photo/video editing software is a plus.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work at one of the most historic venues in baseball, gaining invaluable experience in merchandise operations, marketing, and game-day production.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must currently be a college student (underclassmen, upperclassmen, and graduate students are all eligible)
- Must be available for at least 80% of the Tortugas' home games
- A desire to pursue a career in sport management
- Strong customer service skills
- Outgoing personality with a strong work ethic
- This position requires someone to work long hours at certain periods over the year which includes weekends, holidays. Must work well in a fast- paced environment.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
