We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition using OE repair procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and expertise in various techniques.
Duties
- Perform body repairs on vehicles, including welding, frame machine & Measuring devises and using hand tools to restore damaged areas.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to identify any additional repairs needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required during the repair process.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective repair strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in auto glass replacement and other related tasks as necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive structural repair or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and dealership standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
- Experience with hand tools commonly used in auto body repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
