What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Dayville Hay & Grain Inc.?
We are an independently owned feed and farm supply store located in the Snohomish Valley looking for a warehouse associate to join our team! We have been operating for 25 years and strive to provide old-fashioned service with modern-day efficiency and value. We have a great team atmosphere and can accommodate flexible schedules. Our company seeks exceptional candidates comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will provide outstanding customer service while working with others to ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the store.
Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Serve as a point of contact for customers and professional representative of the company
- Load items in customer vehicles in a manner that is accurate, efficient, safe, and friendly
- Maintain general knowledge of products and their location in the warehouse
- Assist in assembling products and rotating inventory
- Clean and organize the warehouses and outdoor areas of the facility
- Assist as needed in receiving and stocking inventory
Skills/Qualifications:
- High standards and commitment to excellence, particularly in the area of customer service and attention to detail
- Effective communication, basic math skills, and ability to follow direction and work with others
- Physically capable of lifting and loading 100 lb. bales of hay and 50 lb. bags of grain throughout a shift.
- Forklift and pallet experience is desirable
- Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule
