We are hiring for the following position: Cashier at our Redway, California Location!
Position Title: Cashier Wage range: $16.50-$20 per hour.
Our Redway location has been a staple in the Southern Humboldt Community since 1974. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop devoted to serving our community for all of their agricultural and hardware needs.
Job Overview/Summary:
Cashier(s) are responsible for providing outstanding customer service while accurately checking out customers.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collect cash, checks and/or credit card payments from customers
- Deal with returns and refunds as necessary
- Help with other tasks as needed including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean
Knowledge, Skills, or Experience:
- Must demonstrate a friendly and courteous attitude
- 3-6 months experience handling money and working with a cashier
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide easily and quickly
