Job Description
As a Data Integrator, you will join the ongoing development activities of a project team to design, develop, and test data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data into and within the data warehouse. Strong Python and SQL-programming knowledge is expected. Experience with AWS Glue or similar cloud-based ETL tools is desired.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of ETL processes and communication skills to articulate the steps in a data pipeline, the purpose of each step, and translate functional requirements into technical implementation. Candidates should also be familiar with the design documentation for preparing and following source-to-target mappings.
This is foremost a development role, but the data integrator will also participate in help desk triage, testing, and problem resolution activities. Candidates should be interested in developing new skills that include data technologies, data management techniques, and team collaboration. Preferred that candidates have practiced Agile/Scrum methodology and understand expectations of frequent communication, establishing personal goals, and expressing impediments to one’s success.
