What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial Lineman position at DB Fiber LLC?
DB FIBER LLC is looking for a new addition to its team
This individual must have minimum 2 years in the industry hanging fiber and strand along with Pole Transfers. (Preferably 3) Must have exceptional time management and attention to detail skills to meet all deadlines on time. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, this is a Full-time year-round position. Must have a valid driver license and High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer 2 to 3 years of experience in the field. Must be able to operate a bucket truck on day to day basis witht the ability to climb poles with the appropriate climbing gear. Must be able to work alone or with other employees. I am seeking someone who is able to run a truck and go out and complete pole Transfers and Make Ready work. Must have a clean Driving Record.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to perform Pole Transfers and Aerial Construction
- Must be able to Climb Poles
- Must be able to work independently
- Able to lift 50lbs or heavier
- Must be able to operate a bucket truck to perform work as assigned.
- Must be able to perform make ready work and maintenance
- Must be able to read and understand schematics and construction prints
- Must be able to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field.
- Must be able to follow all safety rules in relation to pole climbing, transfers and operations of a buck truck.
Starting Pay: $24.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience
Normal shifts are 8 hours and starting times may vary based on weather conditions.
