Participate in development and delivery of a strategy that enhances continual improvement and adheres to ISO 9001 quality requirements while promoting location ownership and responsibility. Travel required 50% of job time. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
- Conduct internal and coordinate external quality audits at locations which require travel within USA, possibly to Canada and Mexico
- Ensure that audits meet the current ISO standards
- Ensure all administrative aspects of quality audit activities are complied with, implemented, and have closure, including setting audit schedules, assigning audit dates and auditors to their tasks
- Ensure that non-conformities are properly reported, documented and communicated
- Determine if management intervention is necessary to address NCNs and the audit results
- Facilitate branch root cause analysis, adequate action and improvement strategy Follow up and monitor improvements to provide communication & promote sharing of best practices among all locations
