Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and reliable Class A Drivers for our Heavy Haul, Dump Truck, and Water Truck operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the driving profession and want to work with a company that values safety and efficiency.
As a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and operating a variety of vehicles, including heavy haul trucks, dump trucks, and water trucks. You will play an essential role in ensuring that projects run smoothly and that materials are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy-duty trucks (dump trucks, water trucks, and heavy haul equipment) for various projects and job sites.
- Safely transport materials such as dirt, gravel, construction materials, and water.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure they are in good working order.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving and operating equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary.
- Maintain a clean driving record and ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of [3] years of experience operating heavy haul trucks, dump trucks, and/or water trucks.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate large trucks safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, backhoes, etc.).
- OSHA certification or relevant safety training.
- Experience in the construction
