Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of production workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Translating strategic goals into actionable plans, and ensuring operations align with corporate objectives
• Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to optimize efficiency.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain operational standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve any issues.
• Prepare reports on production metrics, employee performance, and equipment status.
• Identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Improving productivity while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Monitoring, optimizing and managing production and waste

Skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on operational needs.

A plant supervisor's job is to oversee a plant's manufacturing operations, ensuring that production is efficient, safe, and runs smoothly. They are responsible for:

• Managing staff: Training new hires, creating schedules, and evaluating performance

• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues promptly

Plant supervisors are a key link between management and the factory floor. They need to be able to multitask, solve problems, and pay close attention to detail.

Plant supervisors differ from plant managers, who focus on the organization's large goals and planning operations, while plant supervisors focus on day-to-day functions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.

· Proven experience in management or supervisory, or a related field, preferably in the food industry.

· Strong knowledge of food manufacturing, standards and regulatory requirements.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
