Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, observant, and proactive Security Officer to help maintain the safety, cleanliness, and order of our property. This role involves regular patrols, monitoring activity, enforcing building rules, and reporting on conditions throughout the premises. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in interacting with tenants, vendors and visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the building through the lobby
- Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises as needed
- Report any suspicious activities
- Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
- Maintain daily activity reports and incident logs
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations
- Enforce building rules and regulations
- Ensure security and cleanliness of the building and property.
Requirements:
- Security or building patrol experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Comfortable engaging with the public
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to be on your feet and control throughout shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
