Heavy Equipment Operator – Underground Utilities Construction
Company based in Kearneysville, WV
Project Locations- WV, VA and MD
This position requires weekly travel at times typically in PA, WV, MD and / or VA; Some home daily projects depending on where employee resides. Meet at project sites Monday typically home Thursday evenings.
Our Client, a well-established underground utility construction company, is seeking a dependable, experienced and safe Heavy Equipment Operator to join their utilities construction crew.
Mainline digging excavator experience is highly preferred.
Experience Required :
Previous experience operating on construction sites - Excavator, backhoe, dozers, rollers, and skid steers
Experience running site utilities : Water lines, Sanitary, Storm Water, Retention Systems, Gas Lines, etc. is required
Earthwork and grading experience
Must be willing to complete laboring duties as needed
Valid Driver’s license is required with CDL License a plus
Ability to travel and stay overnight for out-of-town projects
Pre-employment background and drug testing will be required
Compensation & Scheduled Overview :
Hourly rate; projects are paid at prevailing wage
Most projects crew will meet at construction site early Monday then home Thursday.
Overtime and 5 days required at times. Must work overtime hours when required
Company pays lodging if out of town
