Mechanical Pipe Construction Foreman – Water / Wastewater Plant & Pump Construction Division
Martinsburg, WV / Front Royal, VA region
The Mechanical Pipe / General Construction Foreman travels to multiple water and sewer treatment facilities in the region. Most work is in West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, & Maryland
This is a hands-on, working Construction Foreman opportunity. Applicants must have experience and knowledge of Water / Wastewater Treatment and / or Conveyance Systems, piping, mechanical systems, and general commercial and industrial construction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with mechanical piping and storage tank systems is required
- Must be willing to travel. Typically, Monday – Thursday and occasional Fridays & Weekends (rare)
- Specific experience with piping and mechanical systems, water / wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, general construction and related accessories, pipe work including threaded, flanged, welded, carbon and stainless steel
- Proficiency in reading, math, and understanding blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
- Tank Piping Systems, Spill, Overfill and Containment Systems
- Strong mechanical analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and organizational skills
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- 30-hour OSHA supervisor certification and West Virginia Storage Tank certifications a plus
- High school diploma, additional related education is highly preferred
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a pre-employment screening
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus but not required
