Fabricator

We are currently seeking a highly motivated fabricator/welder to help continue to grow our team and business. This individual will have an emphasis on quality, speed, proficiency, and have a desire to make a difference.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, organized, dependable and have excellent attention to detail along with a desire to succeed and grow with an established company. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in fabrication/welding with excellent MIG welding and flush grinding skills.

Job Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or a GED equivalent

2 years fabrication/welding experience

Ability to check measurements and dimensions with rulers, measuring tape, or square

Blueprint reading experience with the skill to place each product component in its appropriate spot as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment.

Employ furnaces or hand torches to heat up materials to make them more flexible for bending or manipulation into the correct specification

Review blueprints, drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion

Performs at skill levels including, but not limited to, operating drill presses, sanders, saws, ordinary hand tools, cutting, welding, positioners, submerged arc welder, assembly, etc.

Responsible for own work within a work group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production

Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds or more

Perform other duties as assigned. Provide instruction and/or training as qualified.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
